# SIP-20: Refine Samurai Levels Parameters and Conditions

## Motivation

Samurai Levels represents a Samurai Node NFT holder exclusive feature that gamifies, incentivises and rewards accurate understanding and knowledge of web3-related concepts with xHNR governance tokens.

The Samurai Levels feature has demonstrated significant success in engaging the protocol's user base and promoting a deeper understanding of web3-related concepts through its gamified learning experience.

To further enhance the sustainability, engagement, appeal, and utility of this feature, the protocol shall adopt the following adjustments:

• Increase the Levels Streak Cap\
The current 20-day streak cap shall be extended to 30 days. This shall encourage longer-term engagement and consistent learning, fostering a more proactive and committed user base.

• Increase the fee\
The existing Fantom (FTM) fee for participating in Samurai Levels shall be raised by 50%. This shall further bolster the product’s sustainability and enhance its long-term viability.

• Adjust Samurai Levels Rewards / Payout\
The current reward / payout mechanism of xHNR tokens shall be increased by 25% to further incentivize user participation. This enhancement shall bolster the gamification aspect of the feature, thereby promoting its increased user traction and activity.

## Specification

The proposed changes of parameters and conditions shall be enacted and implemented via updates to the existing Samurai Levels smart contracts.\
